We recommend building Fischl as an off-field sub-DPS and battery. Her best weapon in this role is Aqua Simulacra as it buffs her elemental skill. Her best artifact set by far is a four-piece set of Golden Troupe. Make sure to build her with plenty of attack, elemental mastery, electro damage bonus, and crit.

How should I use Fischl?
Fischl is an amazing sub-DPS and battery, capable of providing plenty of energy particles to even non-electro characters. Her companion Oz acts as a super handy turret for constant electro application, and as such she excels at triggering elemental reactions, even from off-field.
She has high attack speed and both her skill and burst remain active when you swap to a different character. Her one downside is that she requires multiple constellations to truly shine, but as a four-star character that appears in the Paimon’s bargains shop, she’s not too difficult to obtain. While Fischl can slot into a main DPS role, our recommendations here are based exclusively on using her as a sub-DPS as that is the role we feel she excels in the most.
What are the best Fischl weapons?
Currently, the best weapon for Fischl is Polar Star, due to its crit rate main stat and hefty attack and skill/burst damage buffs in its passive. Fontaine gave us another great five-star option for a ranged-focused Fischl in The First Great Magic. Its skill grants her extra attack buffs depending on how electro-heavy your team is. This weapon does require Fischl to be on-field more often though.
The Stringless is also a great four-star, more affordable option, increasing Fischl’s elemental mastery to buff her elemental reactions, and boosting her skill and burst damage.
Weapon | Effect | How to obtain |
Polar Star | Bonus stat: crit rate Skill: elemental skill and elemental burst damage increased by 12%. After a normal attack, charged attack, elemental skill, or elemental burst hits an opponent, gain one stack of Ashen Nightstar for 12 seconds. When one/two/three/four stacks of Ashen Nightstar are present, attack increases by 10/20/30/48%. The stack of Ashen Nightstar created by the normal attack, charged attack, elemental skill, or elemental burst will be counted independently of the others | Weapon event gacha |
The First Great Magic | Bonus stat: crit damage Skill: damage dealt by charged attacks increased by 16%. For every electro party member (including Fischl), gain one Gimmick stack. For every party member with a different Elemental Type from Fischl, gain one Theatrics stack. When Fischl has one/two/three or more Gimmick stacks, attack increases by 16%/32%/48%. When Fischl has one/two/three or more Theatrics stacks, movement speed increases by 4%/7%/10% | Weapon event gacha |
The Stringless | Bonus stat: elemental mastery Skill: increases elemental skill and burst damage by 24% | Gacha |
