Yinlin, previously an excellent Patroller in Jinzhou, is a master at gathering information and infiltrating organizations. She possesses her resonator abilities and utilizes them alongside her deployable puppet, Zapstring. Since awakening her power, her physical appearance has remained unchanged compared to other resonators.
As a sub-DPS, Yinlin enhances her team's electro damage through her outro skill, making her a valuable ally for characters like Wuthering Waves Calcharo and Wuthering Waves Xiangli Yao.
We recommend building her with a full set of void thunder echoes, including a Thundering Mephis, and either the Stringmaster or Augment rectifier weapons.
How Do I Use Yinlin?
Yinlin’s skillset can be somewhat intricate, so let’s simplify it. To begin, fill her forte gauge by using basic and skill moves against enemies to prepare her ultimate. By using Yinlin’s ultimate just before releasing her forte circuit, you ensure that as many enemies as possible receive the Sinner’s Marks, leading to increased damage against those targets.
While she deals substantial damage on her own, it’s crucial to utilize her outro skill to enhance the damage of other electro characters when you swap out of her.
What Are the Best Weapons for Yinlin?
As a five-star character, Yinlin has her unique five-star weapon called Stringmaster. If you don't have Stringmaster, Augment serves as a great alternative that boosts her attack.

- Wuthering Waves Xiangli Yao – Similar to Calcharo, Xiangli benefits from Yinlin’s boosts and coordinated attacks, making them a dynamic duo.
- Wuthering Waves Jinhsi – While Yinlin’s electro boost doesn't apply to Jinhsi, she can still support his coordinated attacks. The damage from Yinlin’s punishment marks counts as a coordinated attack, helping to stack elements of Jinhsi’s kit for increased damage potential.
