Here’s everything in our Zenless Zone Zero’s Qingyi build.
What is the best Qingyi build?
ZZZ’s Qingyi is an S-rank stun specialty character who deals electric attribute damage and belongs to the N.E.P.S. faction. She’s a powerful melee unit who uses her devastating combo attacks to daze her enemies and amplify stun damage multipliers to dizzying heights.
Here’s a brief overview of our best ZZZ Qingyi build:
Rank | S |
Attribute | Electric |
Specialty | Stun |
Attack type | Strike |
Best W-engine | Ice-Jade Teapot |
Best drive discs | 4pc Shockstar Disco and 2pc Swing Jazz |
Main stats |
|
Sub-stats | Crit rate = crit damage > attack ratio > pen ratio > attack |
Qingyi’s best W-engine is her signature S-rank, Ice-Jade Teapot, and her best drive disc set is four pieces of Shockstar Disco and two pieces of Swing Jazz. When building her, you should prioritize boosting her crit rate and damage, attack ratio, pen ratio, then flat attack, with impact and electric damage main stats on discs five and six.
Her additional ability offers a nice boost to her daze and attack, which is pretty valuable to her kit. However, to activate this, you need to put her on a team with at least one attack-type character or a fellow member of N.E.P.S. Luckily, that’s pretty easy, as she performs best in a team alongside a strong attack character and a support.

How to use Qingyi
Qingyi is one of the top stun support characters in the game, with strong combo attacks that allow her to overwhelm enemies. However, she does require a significant amount of field time in order to perform best.
Her kit revolves around her Flash Connect Voltage gauge, so getting to grips with that is extremely important. All of her electric damage attacks generate Voltage, and she can store up to 100 units. She then uses 75 units of voltage to activate her empowered basic attack, Enchanted Moonlit Blossoms, which is incredibly important for maximizing her daze potential and applying her impressive stun damage multiplier.
Therefore, your main priority should be keeping Qingyi on-field constantly when the enemy isn’t stunned, using her electric attacks to build up voltage, then unleashing her enhanced basic attack when she has 75 units. Once she stuns the enemy, switch to your DPS to unleash a heap of damage on the weakened enemy. Then, when the enemy recovers from the stun, switch back to Qingyi to start building up voltage and daze again. Rinse, repeat.
Qingyi works very well with Zenless Zone Zero’s Nicole, alongside a main DPS like Zenless Zone Zero’s Zhu Yuan, Zenless Zone Zero’s Nekomata, or Zenless Zone Zero’s Billy. In this type of line-up, Nicole can provide some handy crowd control through her skill and burst, Qingyi can come in and stun the enemies, then the DPS can come in and polish them off. You can learn more about her synergies and best squads in the team comp section below.
What’s Qingyi’s best W-engine?
Qingyi’s best W-engine is the S-rank Ice-Jade Teapot. It’s her signature S-rank, so it’s tailored specifically to her kit, boosting her impact and boosting her allies’ damage.
Qingyi’s second-best W-engine is The Restrained. As Lycaon’s signature W-Engine, it offers powerful stun buffing stats and a higher damage output that most other options.
Hellfire Gears is also a solid option for Qingyi. It’s a great all-rounder for stun agents due to its impact and energy recharge bonuses.
Qingyi’s best A-rank W-engine is Steam Oven. It’s easily her best F2P option thanks to its incredibly potent combat effect, and scales really well with superimpose levels.
The battle pass weapon Six Shooter and the standard A-rank Precious Fossilized Core are also decent back-up
